EGPA working in Northern Ireland progressing Trans awareness
This week the European LGBT Police Association members and executive met in the beautiful and historically rich city of Belfast to progress trans and non-binary understanding within the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
Bee Bailey, Trans Ambassador for the EGPA was flown over to Ireland to assist the PSNI in progressing trans and non-binary awareness.
During her time there, Bee met with the Chair and Vice Chair of Police Federation, Chief Officers, department leads, partner agencies and the Executive group of the LGBT Network.
Bee said "I have no doubt the current LGBT leads will achieve their goal of increasing trust and confidence within for existing trans officers and staff as well as attracting new trans and non-binary members of staff".
