EGPA Strengthens its European Influence: Welcoming Slovenia

The European LGBT Police Association (EGPA) is proud to officially

announce the expansion of its federation with the membership of a new country: Slovenia.

EGPA President, Alain PARMENTIER, announces new member country of the European LGBT Police Association, Slovenia,

"This membership marks a strategic milestone in our development. We are particularly honored to welcome Ziga PLANINEC, who will represent our Slovenian colleagues within our board. His expertise and commitment will be invaluable assets in promoting our values beyond our current borders.

Increased Visibility for Greater Efficiency:

The inclusion of Slovenia into the EGPA does more than just grow our family; it enhances our operational capacity and visibility on the European stage. The larger our network, the stronger our voice becomes with European institutions and national governments.

Building Bridges between Police and the LGBTI Community:

The objective of this integration is clear: to intensify our efforts to build a solid bridge of trust between law enforcement and the LGBTI community across Europe.

Slovenia will take an active role in our flagship projects, specifically:

• Law Enforcement Training: Sharing our proven training modules to ensure colleagues are better equipped to handle diversity challenges and the fight against hate crimes.

• Exchange of Best Practices: Drawing on Slovenian experience to enrich our reception and care protocols for all citizens.

EGPA continues to establish itself as the central actor in transforming police cultures in Europe, striving for security that protects everyone, without exception."

Message Ends.
