10th EGPA Conference, Brussels

The European LGBT Police Association (EGPA) held its 10th Biennial Conference between 16-17th May 2024 in Brussels, Belgium.

Organised by our member, RainbowCops Belgium, delegates attended from 17 European nations for the 2 days of the conference, our Board AGM and Brussels Pride.

We also welcomed our newest member from Luxembourg, Elias Scheer.

The Exective Committee and General Board also paid tribute to our retiring Executive Committee member in charge of Communications, Alan Sneddon, for his service to the EGPA spanning 20 years.

The conference also marks the 20th Anniversary of EGPA. Five delegates who attended the very first conference in Amsterdam in 2004 were also in Brussels:

Mickaël Bucheron, Horst Reulecke-Fortes, Victor Argelaguet, Göran Stanton, Thomas Ulmer

Following the conference, delegates took part in Brussels Pride:

The next EGPA conference, as voted for by the General Board, will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2026 and hosted by our member organisation Roze in Blauw.

Brussels, as testified by all who attended, was a wonderful success and our gratitude goes to all the hard work and commitment by the members of RainbowCops Belgium, who made it all happen.
