EGPA Launches New Podcast Service

Entitled, “The Thin Pink Line”, today the European LGBT Police Association has just added a significant addition to its communications arsenal.

Our Communications and Media officer, Alan Sneddon stated,

”I am absolutely delighted that a project I have been working on for quite some time has now come to fruition.

The last year has had a huge impact on us all. Our conference in Thessaloniki has had to be postponed twice. We have all faced restrictions on travel and congregating. Despite all of this, the EGPA continues our work and mission. How we communicate that and engage with members and various other LGBTI groups has proven difficult. This is what we would normally do at conference.

However, we can still engage. By creating a Podcast, we can engage with our members in an new way. We can bring to you topics that would normally be covered at conference, direct to your phone, tablet, PC.

You can also engage with our podcasts. Send us an email (podcast@lgbtpolice.eu) a DM via our Facebook and Twitter account or even a Voice Message (link provided in the episode description).

We launch our first episode on 17th May which is also International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia.

Our podcast will be available via all the major podcast distributors including Apple, Googl

e and Spotify. You can also listen via our new Podcast page here on our website. Just select “Podcast” from the menu.”

You can help ‘spread the word’ about our new podcast service by sharing this news article or search for “The Thin Pink Line” on all major podcasting services and share the link via your social media.
