International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT)

The European LGBT Police Association (EGPA) launched its IDAHOT 2020 campaign on social media today with a new Poster:

Inspired by the online video conferencing taking place amongst family, friends, businesses, public services during the lockdown imposed by the current Coronavirus pandemic, our Executive Committee and General Board representatives provided photos of themselves in uniform to remind the Police Service and wider LGBT community that we are still here for you and planning our engagement and events for the rest of the year and beyond.

We still have much to do in order to tackle LGBT-phobia/hate crime and we are working with our own police services and the Council of Europe providing training and support.

IDAHOT is marked annually on 17th May and our message to everyone in the LGBT community is to report hate crime. Help us in order that we can help you. Our Association and LGBT staff are proud to be your friend.
